Designed in 2010, Yong sees as something “straight out of The Jetsons, the cartoon that I used to watch at that age.” The desk has five drawers, three in the top shelf and two in the desktop. There are no ornamental drawer pulls to distract you while you work. Inspired by mid-century furniture in the designer’s childhood, the desk looks both classic and futuristic. Solid walnut makes for a sturdy frame with just enough worktop space for a small computer and writing space. Great addition for any room or work space. Made in Malaysia.
